When it rains
It pours

But when the sun touches your mind,and shines through the cracks in your shell, it warms.
It colours your world auburn, thought the eyelids of a closed mind.

It seeps through the mud and grime, and though it doesn’t wash them away - it dries the muddy path within, and makes the journey lighter.
